Pat Sheehan founded CDA with a belief that this business was built on more than products — it was built on relationships, trust and doing right by the people you serve.

Over the course of his career, Pat helped build CDA into a respected presence in the annuity and life insurance industry. Under his leadership, CDA developed or co-designed nearly 100 insurance products, built longstanding relationships with insurance carriers and financial institutions, supported national distribution, and contributed to billions of dollars in annuity and life insurance premium placements.

His vision, entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to the industry created the foundation on which CDA continues to stand today. His legacy lives on through his family, the relationships he built, and the work of CDA of America.
